VANGUARD NORTH MAIN CENTER INVESTS IN UPGRADED TECHNOLOGY, February 15, 2008

Vanguard Imaging Partners recently upgraded its medical imaging technology at its North Main location in Dayton, adding 1.5T High-Field MRI and state of the art Multi-Slice CT equipment. The center’s other diagnostic equipment includes Open MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, Bone Density, and X-Ray.
Joe Brywczynski, Vanguard’s President and CEO, stated “We are very excited about the recent delivery of our High-Field 1.5T MRI. This system provides high-resolution images that help physicians diagnose patients quickly and accurately. We are committed to offering this type of technology to patients in the north Dayton area on an outpatient basis.”
Mary Johnson, Director of Operations and Marketing for Vanguard, is pleased with the company’s expansion. “Our goal is to make medical imaging services readily accessible to residents of all communities in the greater Dayton area. By updating our equipment at the North Main center, we continue the tradition that North Main Imaging established in 1989.” North Main Imaging was acquired by Vanguard on December 1, 2006.
Vanguard continues to expand its imaging offerings at all of its centers around the Miami Valley. The Huber Heights center recently added a Multi-Slice CT to its services which included High-Field MRI, Ultrasound, and X-Ray. The Kettering location added a 1.5T MRI to its Ultrasound, Mammography, Bone Density, and X-Ray equipment. A Multi-Slice CT was also added to the Open MRI at Vanguard’s Beavercreek center.
Vanguard opened its seventh imaging center in Middletown in November of 2007. The Middletown center features High-Field 1.0T Open MRI, Multi-Slice CT, Ultrasound, and X-Ray equipment. The company’s Springboro location opened in March of 2007 and offers High-Field Open MRI, Multi-Slice CT, Ultrasound and X-Ray technology. Vanguard also has a Lebanon center with High-Field Open MRI, Multi-Slice CT, Ultrasound, and X-Ray services.
