Time is on Vanguard's side.
LEBANON – While an aging population can put strain on services for the elderly, a Dayton man has used the trend as an avenue for a new business idea.
Joe Brywczynski, executive director of Vanguard Imaging Partners, LLC, understands that trend and how it impacts the local hospital industry.
He said patients – and even physicians – find it difficult to schedule outpatient medical procedures at hospitals and other busy medical facilities.
“Sometimes, outpatients are the last in line for services,” Brywczynski said.
There’s the business opportunity.
Specializing in off-site outpatient services like MRIs, CTs, cat scans, ultrasounds, X-rays and mammography, Vanguard Imaging Partners, LLC has taken off in its first seven months of operation.
Brywczynski has opened five locations in Montgomery and Warren counties, including the latest site in Lebanon, which began operating last week.
He also is planning to open a sixth location in Springboro in March and a seventh site at 4214 Grand Blvd., in Middletown, in June.
“Then I think we’ll just operate for awhile,” Brywczynski said.
