SOUTHERN OHIO’S FIRST HIGH-FIELD 1.0T OPEN MRI LOCATED IN MIDDLETOWN IMAGING CENTER,
November 9, 2007
Vanguard Imaging Partners in Middletown recently accepted delivery of a Philips high-field Panorama 1.0T open MRI, the first of its kind in southern Ohio. This new technology combines powerful diagnostic capabilities with unprecedented patient comfort in an open design, which is particularly beneficial for larger patients or those with claustrophobia.
The Panorama 1.0T features the widest patient gap of any high-field MRI system. Physicians will appreciate the high-resolution images possible from the high-field strength magnet within the Panorama 1.0T that will enable them to make better diagnoses.
The Vanguard Imaging Partners Middletown center is now accepting appointments for the new high-field open MRI as well as multi-slice CT, ultrasound, and X-ray. The 7,000 square foot center is located in the Grand Medical Plaza at 4214 Grand Avenue, near Breiel Boulevard, and is slated to open on Monday, November 19.
Vanguard president and CEO Joe Brywczynski stated, “We are very excited about the recent delivery of our high-field 1.0T open MRI. This new system is a tremendous diagnostic benefit to southern Ohio and puts Vanguard at the cutting edge of MRI technology. It allows us to provide physicians with the high-resolution images they desire and to diagnose patients in a setting they prefer – open.”
A partnership of participating local hospitals and radiologists, Vanguard currently operates six outpatient imaging centers, including locations in North Dayton, Kettering, Springboro, Lebanon, Huber Heights and Beavercreek.
Vanguard provides state of the art technology combined with the best possible care to patients in a calm, warm, caring environment.
