Vanguard Imaging Coming to Springboro
Vanguard Imaging Partners, LLC recently entered the world of diagnostic imaging.
Vanguard Imaging Partners, LLC (Vanguard) is a partnership of participating local hospitals and local radiologists.
Vanguard’s first of five new outpatient imaging centered opened its doors on July 10, 2006, in Beavercreek, Ohio. The second and third centers were opened in Huber Heights, and Lebanon, on November 29, 2006 and December 6, 2006, respectively.
Soon Springboro and Middletown centers will open.
Vanguard’s centers house the latest in diagnostic outpatient imaging technology, including both high-field closed and open magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), multi-slice CT, ultrasound, and x-ray. Referred to as modalities, each location may have a different combination of options, tailored to particular community needs.
Vanguard also completed a merger with North Main Imaging (North Main) on December 2, 2006. North Main began operations in 1989 and brings an established imaging business with locations on North Main St. in Dayton, and also in Kettering, to the Vanguard family.
The current group of North Main radiologists will continue to provide services at these sites to insure that continuity of care continues for patients and referring physicians.
Vanguard developed these outpatient imaging centers in response to needs identified by a detailed market research study related to patient demographics, physician expectations, community needs and current providers.
Published local and national reports show that in the coming five years outpatient diagnostic imaging is projected to grow between 9 percent and 12 percent per year, which clearly indicates the market is ready for-and in need of-convenient, locally provided imaging services. Vanguard saw the importance of bringing imaging services closer to home, making them more accessible to patients, their families and referring physicians.
